A hysterical farce and riveting tragedy.

Play Information

Our company's inaugural production, this was the first version of The Lesson which we later completely re-made and toured internationally.

In this power-play of verbal dominance, an old professor finds youth in a new pupil. Icarus twists the text, using the same words to show the invasion of capitalism and greed into the hearts and minds of our society today.
