Play Information

D's mother is disappointed; she wants a normal family if only for one day.

But D would rather suck on the bottoms of his da's shite encrusted trousers than put on a pin stripe suit and sit in a church.

It's 1981 and the people in Mena town aren't ready for individuality.

D isn't put off; he's determined to be Debbie Harry Gorgeous and to live life to the full.

Rip Her To Shreds is a black comedy set in a Northern Irish Presbyterian town in 1981, a play about difference, love, sex and DEBBIE HARRY.
