Technical Stage Manager / Relighter

Icarus Theatre Collective are looking for a Technical Stage Manager to work with our existing Stage Manager on our upcoming tour of Eugene Ionesco’s THE LESSON this Autumn 2022. 

 

Total Fee: £7000 for approximately 10 weeks
Accommodation and Travel provided in single rooms

All fees and hours inline with ITC minimums.

 

Dates:

Tour rehearsal and preview: 5th-10th September
Tour: 11th September - 13th November



Responsibilities include:

Relighting the show at each venue.

To work alongside our other Stage Manager to be in charge of the cast of 3 for the duration of the tour.

Work with our other Stage Manager to cover all normal Stage Managerial duties for the tour.

Operate lighting and sound during performances and rehearsal runs, as well as rigging and re-lighting while on tour.

Calling each venue in advance to check pre-rig, general set-up, etc.

Invoicing each venue according to a template and spreadsheet provided.

Share driving responsibilities with of the 3.5 ton Luton van with the other Stage Manager.


Essential Skills include:

Full Driving Licence

Experience rigging, focusing and relighting lights and setting up sound, and operating cues for shows


Desirable skills include:

Experienced with operating captioned shows, complicated projection needs, and projection mapping.
